It was just a couple of weeks back when the last Apple iOS 5 Beta release 7 was sent to all interested developers to test. And last week the latest iOS 5 Beta 8, Apple already seeded it into their iTunes application but the official release will not be out until this Friday – however, some developers already have the copy since the release already leaked in the Internet. And now, another update from an Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said that the “golden master” (GM) release candidate of Apple iOS 5 will be sent to some Apple assembling partners to test. The allotted schedule for testing will be from 23rd of September up until the 30th of September. Note that the “partners” stated here are Apple’s iPhone 5 and iPod Touch assemblers and most spectators are expecting that the GM will be installed on the ready-made iPhone 5 sitting in China (just waiting for the latest software to give it a jump start).
It looks like that with all these reports coming out whether rumors or not, they all coincide with the rumored official release of iPhone 5 which happens to be by next month – October 2011.
Further reports from Ming-Chi Kuo, it looks like that we’ll not be expecting a new iPhone design and the source said that the new iPhone 5 design is more like a redesigned N94 or also known as iPhone 4S.
Well, I guess we will see more of these rumors in the coming days and weeks as October comes which is said to be the launch date of the latest iPhone. Let’s just wait and see.
