Well, that’s sweet! ASUS Transformer Pad TF300 Jelly Bean update started to roll-out last Friday night. So if you are one of the lucky users then I suggest you checked now your tablets and see if the latest Android 4.1.1 also known as Jelly Bean update is now being served in your region. ASUS, from Taiwan, is looking aggressive which for me is really a good sign to avoid from being left behind the tablet bandwagon. If you are not aware yet, with this firmware update from ASUS it makes the company or to be more specific their ASUS Transformer Pad TF300 now the second tablet which will be housing the latest Android operating system – Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean update. The first tablet which got the Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean operating system was Google Nexus 7.
The report initially came out from Android Central Forum where I am also subscribed. Thanks to this person bearing a cyber name Erckul from Cleveland, OH who initially reported that he got a notification about the latest Android 4.1.1 update for ASUS Transformer Pad TF300. And he even sent a screenshot coming from his ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T using Tapatalk 2 (see image above, courtesy of Android Central forum).
The good news about the ASUS Transformer Pad TF300 Jelly Bean update is that according to those who have downloaded and tried it like Erckul is that the new Android 4.1.1 update is pretty fast and responsive. Many were already saying some good things and satisfaction about the latest update. Well, if you haven’t been tuning into ASUS updates then you should know that with Jelly Bean update Adobe Flash will no longer work and the same as with Wifi Direct. There will be a notification about this upon installation.
Before I forget, the ASUS Transformer Pad TF300 Jelly Bean update can be downloaded through OTA. You can now and check if there’s already an update for your device. As far as I know, Yuga already reported that the JB update for ASUS Transformer Pad TF300 is already available also here in the Philippines.
