According to the team evad3rs, who created this untethered jailbreak for iOS 6.x, their application will be compatible to the likes of iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, iPad mini. To be more specific, it will be compatible with devices with iOS 6.0 through iOS 6.1. So in a few hours from now, we can now enjoy and breaking free our devices especially those iPhone 5 and iPad mini users. Apple iOS 6.0/6.1 users will now be able to modify the applications or software.
Jailbreak for iOS 6.x Evasi0n Requirements:
- A computer with either one of the following platforms – Linux (x86 / x86_64), Windows (at least XP), Mac OS X (at least ver 10.5)
- Your iOS device i.e. iPad, iPad mini, iPhone, iPod Touch running on iOS 6.0 – 6.1
- Apple USB cable
As always, whenever you do any changes especially if you are new to jailbreaking you need to backup first all your data using iCloud or iTunes. This is to make sure that whatever happens you would still be able to recover your messages, contacts, etc.
The team evad3rs didn’t divulged any further information about their jailbreak for iOS 6.x. Probably this is because they don’t want Apple to do an immediate patch to disrupt Apple users to acquire the team’s untethered jailbreak.
