OTA Jelly Bean Update For HTC One X Landed In Taiwan and Singapore

HTC One X users in Taiwan and Singapore can now enjoy the latest Android Jelly Bean update for HTC One X as reported by Brittany Hillen of Slash Gear.  According to the most recent reports from the users in Taiwan and Singapore, they revealed and expressed their excitement through this most popular and known mobile forum called XDA developers that they have updated their HTC One X to Android 4.1.1 also known as Jelly Bean update with HTC Sense 4+. And one of the users was kind enough to share a screenshot of the Jelly Bean update for HTC One X below:

As you can see from the image above, the Android version is 4.1.1 which a clear indication that this is indeed the Jelly Bean update. Also in addition to the Jelly Bean update for HTC One X is the HTC Sense version 4+. The software version of the Jelly Bean is 3.14.709.16 and according to the report that the size of the OTA update is 353.87MB.  And if you are planning to update your software, ensure that you have a good and stable Internet connection and your device have at least more than 50% battery charge – but my personal recommendation you should have it fully-charged before updating your device.

HTC One X and the other HTC One family is one of the most popular HTC flagship smartphone with Beats audio. And earlier this month HTC made a promised that two of the HTC One smartphones will receive the new Jelly Bean update and those are HTC One X and HTC One S. With the new Android 4.1.1 OTA roll-out, this is a clear indication that HTC is proving that they can deliver what they have promised.

If you are one of the users of HTC One X and haven’t received the new Jelly Bean update, don’t despair because the update will soon come to your region. All roll-outs of updates will depend primarily not from HTC but with the carriers you are with on your own region – if the latest release is and will be compatible in your country. You just need to keep on checking from time to time to see if there’s a Jelly Bean update for HTC One X available on your country. Until then, just be patient because it will eventually arrive.
