Samsung Galaxy Note Ads Will Be On Super Bowl XLVI 2012

Start marking your calendar now and begin the countdown for the upcoming National Football League’s Super Bowl XLVI 2012 which will take place on the 05th of February in Lucas Oil Stadium in Downtown Indianapolis, Indiana. In this year’s super bowl 46 we will see the biggest clash between the New England Patriots and New York Giants – a rematch between the two way back 2008, Super Bowl 42. But that’s not actually the gist of this post. It is the surprisingly announcement made by Samsung Mobile US through Twitter a few hours ago. They tweeted that they are cooking their first Super bowl ad featuring Samsung Galaxy Note and it is expected to be the longest in the game. According to the same tweet, this Samsung Galaxy Note ad should be expected in the 4th quarter of the game of this year’s super bowl.

Samsung Mobile US Biggest Ad in Super Bowl

Samsung must have spent millions of dollars to create this advertisement and this is also the first ever Super bowl commercial by director/producer Bobby Farrelly of Shallow Hal, There’s Something About Mary, Me, Myself & Irene, and the Dumb & Dumber.

Like the Super Bowl clash, I won’t be surprised if Apple also have a spot in this game considering their successful sales with their iPad 2 and iPhone 4S.  Also, Apple have been doing it for years so it’s not really surprising if they will also place an ad during the game on Sunday.  Now, who’s advertisement will win the hearts of many?  I have been tuning into almost all of the mocking video advertisements from Samsung against Apple’s iPhone 4S.  Apple’s iPhone 4S has been battered by Samsung’s The Next Big Thing videos swaying all the consumers’ eyes to switch from Apple to Samsung. But the series mostly show Samsung’s flagship smartphone, Samsung Galaxy S II and I haven’t seen any version of Samsung Galaxy Note.  I guess this will be my first time to see it – in the upcoming big super bowl game.

The kick-off is scheduled to start at 06:30PM EST on Sunday. Let’s all wait and see.
