UK ASUS Transformer TF101 ICS .24 Update Rolling Out Today

ASUS United Kingdom announced that the latest Android Ice Cream Sandwich (also known as TF101.24) update for ASUS Eee Pad Transformer TF101 is now available for UK owners to download. The first announcement was made through ASUS UK official Facebook fan page a couple of hours ago letting the UK TF101 owners to stay tune for further developments about the release of ICS TF101.24 today.  And just an hour ago, the long wait is finally over as ASUS says that the update is now ready.

But before you do anything that you might regret in the end, please note that before you download the ICS update you must ensure that you have performed the cold boot on your tablet.  And if you are not sure on how to do it, ASUS UK shared a YouTube video of the ASUS Transformer Prime Video cold boot procedure. This is the same step as with ASUS Eee Pad Transformer TF101.

From the release notes of TF101.24 ICS update (9.2.1.24 ICS Release Note), it shows a lot of stability or bug fixes from the previous update. These are improvements for the TF101 system, email app, MyNet and MuLibrary. In addition to these, the update also brings a System Bar Lock, Face Unlock features, and Email App new features.
