Samsung Galaxy S4 vs. Sony Xperia Z

If you’ve been being attentive on the latest trends in mobile technology developments, it has not been better before as are on for a great treat with the release of great models from Samsun and Sony. Don’t anticipate anything drastically different.  Also no distinct changes forward, at least for some more time. Android operating system is where all the productive activity is happening nowadays. The new Samsung Galaxy S4 is about to battle it out with another spotlight-stealer. To be reasonable, and well-mannered of chronology, it’s the Sony’s Xperia Z that has been patiently waiting to lastly fulfill its coordinate. We’ll see how the two different gadgets excel and compete on market dominance.

Design Review

Well, it’s the design and complete obviously that creates the first and quite essential distinction between two devices, all the more so when you have two mobile phones of identical dimension, similarly thin, operated by nearly the same internals and displaying a five-inch display each of HD quality. So yes, the style does set those two apart. Both the Xperia Z and the Galaxy S4 are the finale of years of technological innovation, style, perfection and appearance. And while we have no purpose to question the dedication of either producer to any of those principles, it’s obvious that these Android operating system flagships are depending on a different idea of aesthetics.

The Galaxy S4 is built made out of plastic material and looks hardly different from the Galaxy SIII, except for some simple information, and has the same hyper glazed body finish. The new Samsung looks affordable better than the SIII version and increases no questions at all about long lasting strength. What it clearly does not have is the top quality feel of the Xperia Z.

To top that up, the SonyXperia Z is IP57-certified for dirt and the water resistance. It’ll endure meter-deep delves for provided that 30 minutes. To make sure no the water smashes in, all the cell phone’s slots along the sides are protected with flap. And that has a storage port too. The price to pay though is a non-removable back cover, and therefore a non-user-replaceable power supply, which could be a potential deal buster for some.

Dimension and weight

Both the Galaxy S4 and the Xperia Z are almost identical when it comes to bodyweight and measurements though the Galaxy S4 is less challenging to keep because it is 130 gms as in comparison to 146 gms of the Xperia Z. The S4 has a clear dimension of 136.6 x 69.8 x 7.9mm while the new Sony Xperia Z is 139 x 71 x 7.9mm.

Processer and battery

The Galaxy S4 will be available in two variants- the product which will be coming in UK will function with the quad-core Snapdragon 600 chipset. The system speed will be at 1.9GHz. The Sony Xperia Z, however, has a Snapdragon S4 Pro setting and is ranked with a rate of 1.5GHz. The Galaxy S4 also functions a more incredible power supply of 2600 mAh as opposed to 2300 mAh power supply presented on the Xperia Z.  The Xperia Z functionswith 11 hours talk-time while no such statements have been made by Galaxy S4.

Backed by a highly effective processer, both the gadgets are home to some really quick cameras. Samsung‘s 13 mega-pixel camera offers plenty of features such as Double Photographic camera, Eraser and  Sound and Shot feature  The Xperia Z’s 13 mp camera, on the other hand, has a low intensely low-light digital cameras.

Samsung Galaxy S4 – Android operating system 4.2 with Touchwiz. Also Samsung Galaxy S5 is coming very soon in 2014.

Sony Xperia Z – Comes with the Android operating system 4.2 with Sony models UI

These mobile phones both run the newest edition of Android operating system, 4.2 Jelly Bean. They look really different as each uses a customized interface developed by their creators. The New Samsung Galaxy S4 has the new edition of the TouchWiz interface that is used in mobile phones for years. It looks just like the one in the Galaxy S3, but has a bucket load of new features. Top pieces include:

•    WatchON, which uses the cell phone’s IR blaster to control your TV.

•    S Health, which helps you plan exercise activities

•    Intelligent Stop, which breaks videos when you take your sight away from the display.

•    Language Translator.

Sony’s interface has lesser feature. It’s gone smooth, while the New Samsung Galax S4 interface is with standard configurations much lighter and jollier. There are a lot of pre-installed themes in the Xperia Z, which add an array of background scenes and secure displays for a phone renovation that only takes a few faucets.

Storage space Capacity

The Xperia Z and the Galaxy S4 both function with 2GB RAM under its smooth bonnet. The Samsung Galaxy S4 is available in three editions -16GB, 32GB, and 64GB on panel. However, it has been said that only the 16GB edition is quickly available in US.  The Xperia Z is available in only 16 GB editions. Both gadgets function with the microSD cards port, and therefore the storage potential can be quickly enhanced.

The Xperia Z and the Galaxy S4, both follow the LTE convention and are suitable with the 4G system. Both the gadgets are NFC allowed. The Galaxy S4 is also available in 3G only editions also and will be holding a reduced cost tag.The Sony models Xperia Z is waterproof and dirt proof and this is one function where it surpasses the Galaxy S4. In summary, both the gadgets signify the existing technological innovation though the S4 is a little bit more powerful with a beefier processer and storage potential. Xperia Z also has its own USP’s and both systems stand at the same level in this evaluation.

This delivers it near to the specifications comparisons of the Xperia Z and Galaxy S4. There is little distinction for customers when it come to storage and same is the situation of cameras which have similar specifications. Software wise also, they are near and obviously this is an area of personal viewpoint and so is the situation of power supply. So the acidity test will be how customers understand the distinction and that we will find in the coming weeks.
